Over the weekend, a Haitian pop-up called Bibi\u2019s Patties opened its first storefront in the Huntley Square shopping center, a small strip on the northeast corner of Huntley Road and Route 161 just outside Worthington.<\/p>\n

Until now, Bibi\u2019s has been operating as a home bakery and selling patties at local farmers markets and other events.<\/p>\n

The patties come in beef, chicken, fish, and veggie flavors. You can order them individually or by the dozen. (I\u2019m not sure of the difference between the dozen and the full dozen on the menu!). There\u2019s also a variety pack of all four flavors.<\/p>\n

This is what the variety dozen looks like! Four boxes full of patties for $30.<\/p>\n

Bibi\u2019s also features a short menu of entrees, mainly rice and beans with a variety of proteins. There\u2019s a small amount of seating inside the space, but it\u2019s geared mainly for takeaway at this time.<\/p>\n

The patties are good-sized pastries with beautiful golden flaky crusts.<\/p>\n

This is the ground beef. Very nicely seasoned.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the shredded chicken. Again, very good seasoning.<\/p>\n

The fish was maybe a touch dry but had good flavor. The menu says its pollack, herring, or codfish.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"<\/figure>\n

And here\u2019s the veggies, with a nice mix of cabbage, spinach, okra, onions, pepper.<\/p>\n

This was just a first taste of Bibi\u2019s, but we\u2019re looking forward to more visits for more patties!<\/p>\n
