Coinbase traders can now buy and sell the brand-new native token of a new omni-chain tool focused on artificial intelligence (AI).<\/p>\n

The top US crypto exchange rolled out support<\/a> for Wayfinder (PROMPT) on Thursday, the same day the token launched.<\/p>\n

Wayfinder bills itself<\/a> as an omni-chain tool \u201cproviding groundbreaking ways for AI to interact with blockchain environments.\u201d<\/p>\n

The project\u2019s whitepaper<\/a> notes that it will also be used for blockchain-based games.<\/p>\n

\u201cWayfinder is an AI agent framework able to power blockchain-based games, with Parallel Studios\u2019 Colony as an initial game incorporating Wayfinder\u2019s technology, as well as provide generalized on-chain AI capabilities to both developers and non-technical users. Wayfinder\u2019s innovations in enabling AI agents to operate within blockchain environments are achieved via the development of what is being termed \u2018wayfinding paths,\u2019 which serve as an instruction set and roadmap for AI agents. This enables them to navigate blockchain environments with the goal of attaining a unique endpoint, such as a particular DEX on XYZ chain, a decentralized marketplace, or a Web3 enabled tool.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

PROMPT<\/a> is down more than 27% on its first day of trading.<\/p>\n

Coinbase listed the asset with an \u201cexperimental label<\/a>,\u201d which the platform uses for tokens that pose certain risks, such as price swings and canceled orders because of lower trading volume and availability.<\/p>\n
