Texas VegFest is a FREE public education event for all ages. We are one of the largest vegan, plant-based educational events in the state of Texas. We are celebrating our 10th year at Fiesta Gardens on Saturday April 5th, 2025 between 11am and 6pm.

We have 70 participants ranging from nonprofits, food vendors and trucks, musicians, cooking demos, and lecturers.

Internet is spotty, so we recommend attendees and participants use their wifi/mifi devices. With the cloud coverage and pavilion, it will be difficult to reach our signal.

Please bring cash to help make transactions if the internet is having trouble.

Please bring all items to help make your pets stay comfortable, especially considering the weather and mud puddles. You must pick up after your pet and ensure their safety as well as the safety of all attendees, human and non.

Bring items that will make your day as comfortable as possible (rain boots, carts, folding chairs, jackets, etc.). We have a large outdoor space with wide sidewalks, and we connect to so many parks, trails, and businesses nearby. You can attend Kite Fest (97th Year!!), Texas VegFest (10 Years), and the Cap10K (48 years!), this weekend. What a fantastic way to experience spring in this city!

We really had to work extra hard this year to make our 10th year possible. Our volunteers have worked around the clock, putting all their heart into making sure the event is a safe success. If you see a Texas VegFest volunteer, please be sure to stop and tell them THANK YOU. We truly would not be able to celebrate this momentous event without them.

Our team is so grateful for the love and support from the communities we’ve worked with over the last 10 years. We are excited to share what we’ve been working on, and to showcase so many phenomenal businesses and organizations working hard to make this world a better place. We look forward to seeing and celebrating with YOU today!

Texas VegFest is a FREE public event! As our local business struggle to keep their doors open, and long standing events in Austin have to chose to leave the city, now more than ever we need to preserve the heart of what made Austin so great. Your donations help us with our operational cost, and ensure that we continue to provide a free educational event to the public.
