{"id":180623,"date":"2025-04-10T15:36:41","date_gmt":"2025-04-10T15:36:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peraltafinancing.com\/aerospace\/mtu-maintenance-expands-mro-partnership-with-ge-aerospace\/"},"modified":"2025-04-10T15:36:41","modified_gmt":"2025-04-10T15:36:41","slug":"mtu-maintenance-expands-mro-partnership-with-ge-aerospace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=180623","title":{"rendered":"MTU Maintenance expands MRO partnership with GE Aerospace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>MTU Maintenance has announced that it will be expanding its maintenance, overhaul and repair (MRO) capabilities in the United States.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The German firm signed an agreement with GE Aerospace which will enable it to service both LEAP and GEnx aero engines at its facility in Fort Worth, Texas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The announcement was made during the MRO Americas trade show, being held in Atlanta, Georgia, between April 8 and10, 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"article-leaderboard bn-1\"\/>\n<p>MTU\u2019s 43,000 square meter Fort Worth service center is a state-of-the-art facility, which was opened in 2023, and is capable of performing the full disassembly, re-assembly and testing of the engines\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After signing a GE Branded Services Agreement (GBSA), MTU Maintenance will now become one of six exclusive Premier MRO service providers for LEAP engines in the world. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The LEAP engine is manufactured by CFM, a consortium between GE Aerospace and French engine maker Safran, to power narrowbody aircraft such as the A320neo family and the B737 MAX. \u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"article-leaderboard bn-2\"\/>\n<p>This expansion follows the opening of another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aerotime.aero\/articles\/ge-aerospace-opens-state-of-the-art-xeos-mro-center-in-poland-for-leap-engines\" title=\"\">service center for LEAP engines in March 2025, called \u201cXEOS\u201d<\/a>, at a facility near Wroclaw, Poland.
