I want you to pause and <em>think<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t want to tell you any of my answers or any \u201cbest practice\u201d answers. Those answers don\u2019t matter. <em>Your<\/em> answers matter. <\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a bit like therapy. It\u2019s not about me. It\u2019s about you, and it\u2019s important that you come to your own conclusions. <\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Is <a href=\"https:\/\/bestinterest.blog\/mr-market\/\">Mr. Market<\/a> being manic or depressive right now?\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Did your goals change in the past week?\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>\u2026Did your timelines change?<\/li>\n<li>What does your financial plan require you to do right now? <\/li>\n<li>If the stock market closed for the next five years, would you be comfortable with what you own today?<\/li>\n<li>If the political party flipped, but the other facts stayed the same\u2026would you still feel the same way?<\/li>\n<li>Are your current decisions driven by evidence and analysis? <\/li>\n<li>What does \u201clong-term\u201d mean to you?<\/li>\n<li>What will happen if you do nothing at all right now? <\/li>\n<li>Are you chasing certainty in an uncertain world? <\/li>\n<li>Is discomfort a reason to act or part of the ride you signed up for?<\/li>\n<li>What are your expectations of a \u201cworst-case scenario\u201d in your portfolio?
