In that report, Matt lays out\u2014step by step\u2014how Trump\u2019s team could trigger a financial transformation unlike anything we\u2019ve seen before\u2026 with gold right at the center of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given that backdrop, it\u2019s no surprise this month\u2019s issue is all about gold too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not only do we have a brand-new gold recommendation for you today, but we\u2019re also doing a full review of every gold position in our portfolio. My hope is that it\u2019ll help you quickly zero in on the companies you\u2019re most interested in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, since this issue is fully packed, I\u2019ll keep it brief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Back in our gold-focused September\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.crisisinvesting.com\/p\/crisis-investing-f62?utm_source=publication-search\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">issue<\/a>, I was clear-eyed but agnostic about whether gold would hit US$3,000 or US$5,000\u2014but I was certain it was headed much higher in 2025 and beyond. I also remember being genuinely surprised at just how absurdly cheap gold stocks were at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fast forward to today: gold just keeps punching through new all-time highs\u2026 US$2,900, US$3,000, US$3,050, and now over US$3,100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So yes, the first US$3K milestone is already in the bag. But honestly, with everything that\u2019s happening, I think US$5,000 is a matter of\u00a0<em>when<\/em>, not\u00a0<em>if<\/em>. And if Matt\u2019s right about\u00a0<em>Trump\u2019s Reset<\/em>, we could get there just as fast as we blew past US$3,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But what about gold stocks? Are they still mind-bogglingly cheap?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They\u2019re still cheap, but the tide is clearly turning. The\u00a0<em>HUI Index<\/em>\u2014which tracks a basket of solid, profitable, dividend-paying gold miners\u2014is now at 360.5, up from 326 in September. That\u2019s a 10.6% gain. Still, it\u2019s a long way from its 2011 peak above 600 (mind you, I\u2019m certain we\u2019ll get there again). Which makes this a great time to load up on quality gold names.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before I wrap up, here\u2019s a quick chart that ties it all together. It\u2019s the\u00a0<em>gold-to-oil ratio<\/em>\u2014basically, how many barrels of oil you can buy with an ounce of gold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"711\" src=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-11-1024x711.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11793\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-11-1024x711.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-11-300x208.png 300w, https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-11-768x534.png 768w, https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-11.png 1376w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br\/>Take a closer look\u2014you\u2019ll see it recently hit nearly 41 barrels per ounce. That\u2019s the highest monthly level on record outside the COVID spike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And who benefits most when oil is this cheap relative to gold?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s right\u2014gold producers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Energy\u2014especially oil\u2014is one of their biggest input costs. So when gold prices surge while oil stays relatively flat, margins can balloon. And that\u2019s exactly what we\u2019ve seen\u2014gold\u2019s jumped nearly US$1,000 per ounce over the past year, while many producers have only seen costs rise US$100\u2013US$200. You don\u2019t need a calculator to see why that\u2019s a big deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But here\u2019s the thing\u2014not all producers are created equal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some are saddled with heavy debt burdens, risky jurisdictions, and\/or hedging programs that cap their upside.
