This dessert<br \/>\n      feeds a crowd and is so festive topped with a chocolate bunny or more<br \/>\n      malted eggs.\u00a0\n    <\/p>\n<p>PREP TIME: 1 hour<\/p>\n<p>BAKE TIME: 30 minutes<\/p>\n<p>YIELD: 18-22 servings<\/p>\n<p>\n      [Note: for even easier prep, use 2 boxes of brownie mix, baked as directed<br \/>\n      in two 8&#215;8 pans. Add 1\/8 cup malted milk powder to the batter of each.]\n    <\/p>\n<p>For the brownies:<\/p>\n<p>3\/4 cup unsalted butter<\/p>\n<p>1 cup lightly packed light brown sugar<\/p>\n<p>1 cup granulated sugar<\/p>\n<p>1 cup Dutch-process cocoa powder<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup malted milk powder<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon kosher salt<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 teaspoon baking powder<\/p>\n<p>2 teaspoons vanilla extract<\/p>\n<p>4 eggs<\/p>\n<p>1 cup unbleached, all-purpose flour<\/p>\n<p>For the pudding:<\/p>\n<p>2 (3.4-ounce) boxes instant chocolate pudding<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup malted milk powder<\/p>\n<p>4 cups cold milk<\/p>\n<p>For the cream:<\/p>\n<p>2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, room temperature<\/p>\n<p>2\/3 cup powdered sugar<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup malted milk powder<\/p>\n<p>2 teaspoons vanilla extract<\/p>\n<p>4 cups heavy cream<\/p>\n<p>2 packages malted milk ball \u201ceggs\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chocolate bunny (optional but adorable)<\/p>\n<p><b>Make the brownies:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Grease a 9X13\u201d pan. Preheat oven to 325.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n      Melt the butter over medium-low heat. Once melted, stir in the sugars,<br \/>\n      stirring until incorporated into the butter. Stir and heat for 30 more<br \/>\n      seconds. Remove from heat. Whisk in cocoa, malted milk powder, salt, and<br \/>\n      baking powder. Add the vanilla. Whisk in eggs, one at a time, whisking<br \/>\n      until smooth. Stir in the flour.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n      Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until<br \/>\n      done. Let cool completely on a wire rack.\u00a0\n    <\/p>\n<p><b>Make the pudding:<\/b>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n      Whisk the pudding mixes and malted milk powder together. Add the milk and<br \/>\n      whisk for 2 minutes. Pour into a bowl, cover, and chill in the<br \/>\n      refrigerator for at least two hours.\u00a0\n    <\/p>\n<p><b>Make the cream:<\/b>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n      Beat the cream cheese with the paddle attachment until soft and creamy.<br \/>\n      Mix in the sugar, malted milk powder, and vanilla. Scrape down the sides<br \/>\n      and bottom of the bowl as needed and beat until thoroughly mixed.\u00a0\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n      In another bowl, whip the cream using the whisk attachment until soft<br \/>\n      peaks form. Add the cream cheese mixture and beat until stiff peaks form.<br \/>\n      (The paddle attachment may be used here to avoid overbeating.)\u00a0\n    <\/p>\n<p><b>Assemble:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\n      Chop one package of the malted eggs. (You may need to place the eggs in a<br \/>\n      large ziptop bag and use a meat mallet or hammer.)\u00a0\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n      Break the brownie into pieces and place half into the bottom of a trifle<br \/>\n      dish. Spread with half of the pudding. Spread half of the cream mixture on<br \/>\n      top. Sprinkle chopped malted eggs on top. Repeat the layers ending with<br \/>\n      the cream. Refrigerate the trifle for at least two hours for it to set.<br \/>\n      May be made the day before.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n      Before serving, top with the whole malted eggs and, if desired, a<br \/>\n      chocolate bunny. Depending on the size of the bunny, it may need to be<br \/>\n      propped up with toothpicks or skewers.
