One-Day seminars are the easiest way to engage with\u00a0Teaching American History<\/a>\u00a0in person. These are\u00a0free<\/strong>\u00a0to attend for all social studies teachers\u00a0and can be in historical locations, school districts, and educational service centers.\u00a0For a few hours, teachers can dive into the content of primary source documents through a discussion with colleagues facilitated by a scholar. Lunch is provided, and at the end of the day you head home with an attendance letter.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Although\u00a0One-Days<\/a>\u00a0are designed to fit around a teacher\u2019s busy schedule, it is important to spend some time preparing for the day.
