{"id":175594,"date":"2025-04-07T13:30:55","date_gmt":"2025-04-07T13:30:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peraltafinancing.com\/aerospace\/eva-air-orders-six-a350-1000s-and-three-a321neo-aircraft\/"},"modified":"2025-04-07T13:30:55","modified_gmt":"2025-04-07T13:30:55","slug":"eva-air-orders-six-a350-1000s-and-three-a321neo-aircraft","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=175594","title":{"rendered":"EVA Air orders six A350-1000s and three A321neo aircraft"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Taiwanese carrier EVA Air has finalized an order for six long-range A350-1000s and three single-aisle A321neo aircraft, completing a deal first revealed by the airline in March 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With these new orders, EVA Air\u2019s total aircraft backlog will now include 24 A350-1000s and 18 A321neo aircraft, Airbus announced in a statement on April 7, 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth the A350-1000 and A321neo set a high standard in their respective categories,\u201d said Clay Sun, President of EVA Air. \u201cAs we move forward with our fleet and network expansion plans, we look forward to leveraging the aircraft\u2019s extended range and efficiency to strengthen our market position.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"article-leaderboard bn-1\"\/>\n<p>\u201cWe deeply value EVA Air\u2019s confidence in these latest generation aircraft and stand ready to support their seamless integration into the airline\u2019s fleet for future success,\u201d Beno\u00eet de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry, Airbus EVP Sales of the Commercial Aircraft business added.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to Airbus, the A350 is the world\u2019s most modern and efficient widebody aircraft. It offers the longest range capability of any commercial airliner currently in production.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Equipped with the latest generation of Rolls-Royce engines, the aircraft can fly up to 9,700 nautical miles (18,000 kilometers) non-stop, using 25% less fuel than previous generation types and with a similar reduction in carbon emissions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"article-leaderboard bn-2\"\/>\n<p>As with all Airbus aircraft, the A350 is already able to operate with up to 50% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Airbus is targeting to have its aircraft up to 100% SAF capable by 2030.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The A350 Family has received more than 1,360 orders from 60 customers worldwide, with more than 640 aircraft currently in the fleets of 38 operators, flying primarily on long-haul routes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The A321neo is part of the A320neo Family and features new generation engines, Sharklets and cabin efficiency enablers, which together deliver 20% fuel savings.
