In \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/investmentecosystem.com\/2025\/02\/14\/common-practices-best-practices-and-next-practices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/investmentecosystem.com\/2025\/02\/14\/common-practices-best-practices-and-next-practices\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1742558885380000&amp;usg=AOvVaw0RahPBpGJ83njx6uDy4DvU\">Common Practices, Best Practices, and Next Practices<\/a>,\u201d he suggests that you ask, \u201cHow would you describe what you do in comparison to the standards that are prevalent across the industry in like positions and situations?\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can organize your responses into three columns:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Common practices<\/li>\n<li>Best practices<\/li>\n<li>Next practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I like the simplicity of the three columns.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I also like the idea of striving for \u201cnext practices.\u201d Brakke says,<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; padding-left: 40px;\">Innovative organizations are constantly working to improve their methods.
