1. When did your baby commence BLW?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We started BLW at about 5.5 months closer to 6 months, we\u2019d been pushed to wean early as he was a really hungry baby but I didn\u2019t want to do purees and he wasn\u2019t too keen on me trying to spoon feed him anyway.<\/p>\n

2. What were bub\u2019s first foods?<\/strong><\/p>\n

First foods here were melon, cucumber and baby wafers. First proper meal with basil chicken, carrots and broccoli found on your Instagram page!<\/p>\n

3. At what month did your baby \u2018really\u2019 start to eat\/swallow a lot more foods?<\/strong><\/p>\n

He started swallowing foods straight away! He hardly dropped anything even at the beginning, as times gone on he just consumes even more!<\/p>\n

4. If you could give one piece of advice to new mums\/dads starting out, what would it be?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Keep at it! No matter how frustrating and messy it gets its so worth it! You can\u2019t over feed them and it develops their hand eye coordination so much! Also it\u2019s easier as you don\u2019t need to do the transition from pur\u00e9es to finger foods to proper meals!<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0Any setbacks ie allergies, intolerances, eating regression?<\/strong><\/p>\n

At about 8 months we had a horrid week of sickness and he wasn\u2019t bothered by foods at all! But as soon as he was better he was straight back in eating as good as before! We\u2019ve tried most of the high allergens (strawberries, eggs, peanut butter etc) and haven\u2019t had any allergies show yet!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

6. What age is your baby now and is she\/he a good eater now?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Elijah is now 10 and a half months and he eats so well! Anything you put infront of him he will quite happily eat, he wastes hardly anything. When we go out for meals I have to order him a kids meal otherwise I wouldn\u2019t have any food off my own plate! He\u2019s now learning to use a preloaded fork and spoon as well!<\/p>\n
