Continuing its legacy of Dominican rum mastery, Brugal proudly announces its most premium expression to date: Andr\u00e9s Brugal Edition 02<\/strong>. Fifth-generation Maestra Ronera Jassil Villanueva Quintana meticulously crafted this distinguished rum as a tribute to founder Andr\u00e9s Brugal Montaner, the Brugal Maestros Roneros who followed in his footsteps, and the monumental journey that brought Brugal to international acclaim, including their historic voyage to the United States, which marked the internationalisation of our rums. Only 416 bottles are available globally, with a limited allocation of 20 for the UK market.<\/p>\n

Building on the success of the first release, which honoured Brugal\u2019s Dominican roots, this time, Edition 02 celebrates the spirit of exploration that has defined Brugal since its founding, paying tribute to its historic journey to the United States, which paved the way for the brand\u2019s international fame. \u201cThis series is a tribute to my family\u2019s legacy and the remarkable journey that brought our rum to the world,\u201d said<\/p>\n

Villanueva Quintana noted, \u201cThis rum exemplifies the meticulous artistry and bold vision of our Maestros Roneros, crafting a liquid that connects our heritage with a future of endless discovery.\u201d<\/p>\n

The journey begins with the selection of four rare American oak bourbon casks chosen for their unparalleled ability to enrich the rum with layers of complexity. Each cask contributes its unique character, infusing the liquid with subtle whispers of woody warmth, vibrant citrus, and the delicate spice that defines Brugal\u2019s signature style. Under the expert craftsmanship of Jassil Villanueva Quintana, these casks are meticulously blended to create a liquid of exceptional depth, inspired by Brugal\u2019s rich history with the United States and its unwavering pursuit of perfection.<\/p>\n

The Andr\u00e9s Brugal series celebrates defining moments in the brand\u2019s history. Edition 02 pays tribute to the global journey of Brugal\u2019s Maestros Roneros, with a special focus on the United States\u2019 instrumental role in the internationalization of its rum. After the repeal of Prohibition, Brugal emerged as a pioneer in introducing Americans to the sophistication of premium rum, garnering accolades that included a handwritten note of praise from President Franklin D. Andr\u00e9s Brugal Edition 02 invites connoisseurs to experience a rum of unmatched character. The liquid\u2019s radiant golden amber hue hints at the rich complexity within.
