In writing How the World Adopted Beijing\u2019s Economic Playbook, Michael Froman is no Zbigniew Brzezinski. As a member of the Trilateral Commission and President of the subversive Council on Foreign Relations, Froman argues that China Has Already Remade the International System. His declaration is a day late and a dollar short and thoroughly disingenuous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2001, an article appeared in Time Magazine where another Trilateral, Hedley Donovan, was a founding member of the Trilateral Commission, and his publication was one of several media outlets that collaborated with Trilateral initiatives. The article, Made in China: The Revenge of the Nerds , accurately and plainly revealed what had taken place during the prior 20 years:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The nerds are run\u00adning the show in today\u2019s China. In the twenty years since Deng Xiaoping\u2019s reforms kicked in, the com\u00adpo\u00adsi\u00adtion of the Chi\u00adnese lead\u00ader\u00adship has shifted markedly in favor of tech\u00adnocrats. \u2026It\u2019s no exag\u00adger\u00ada\u00adtion to describe the cur\u00adrent regime as a tech\u00adnoc\u00adracy.<\/p>

<\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

After the Maoist mad\u00adness abated and Deng Xiaoping inau\u00adgu\u00adrated the opening and reforms that began in late 1978, sci\u00aden\u00adtific and tech\u00adnical intel\u00adlec\u00adtuals were among the first to be reha\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adtated. Real\u00adizing that they were the key to the Four Mod\u00adern\u00adiza\u00adtions embraced by the reformers, con\u00adcerted efforts were made to bring the \u201cexperts\u201d back into the fold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the 1980s, tech\u00adnoc\u00adracy as a con\u00adcept was much talked about, espe\u00adcially in the con\u00adtext of so-called \u201cNeo-Authoritarianism\u201d\u2009\u2014\u2009the prin\u00adciple at the heart of the \u201cAsian Devel\u00adop\u00admental Model\u201d that South Korea, Sin\u00adga\u00adpore, and Taiwan had pur\u00adsued with apparent suc\u00adcess. The basic beliefs and assump\u00adtions of the tech\u00adnocrats were laid out quite plainly: Social and eco\u00adnomic prob\u00adlems were akin to engi\u00adneering prob\u00adlems and could be under\u00adstood, addressed, and even\u00adtu\u00adally solved as such.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The open hos\u00adtility to reli\u00adgion that Bei\u00adjing exhibits at times\u2009\u2014\u2009most notably in its obses\u00adsive drive to stamp out the \u201cevil cult\u201d of Falun Gong\u2009\u2014\u2009has pre-Marxist roots. Sci\u00aden\u00adtism under\u00adlies the post-Mao tech\u00adnoc\u00adracy, and it is the ortho\u00addoxy against which here\u00adsies are mea\u00adsured. [Emphasis added]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Froman\u2019s latest article asks \u201cHow the World Adopted Beijing\u2019s Economic Playbook\u201d and then carefully adds sub-heads like \u201cHow China Won\u201d, \u201cThe United States is already living in China\u2019s world\u201d and \u201cIF YOU CAN\u2019T BEAT THEM, JOIN THEM.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, golly gee. Who, me? I didn\u2019t do it! How did this happen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Froman knows full well that Zbigniew Brzezinski, with an assist from Henry Kissinger, inducted China into the the modern world in the first place and they showed them how to model Technocracy. He does not credit the plethora of Trilateral Commission-linked companies who lined to build China\u2019s infrastructure, passed technology, and poured billions into developing its industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nor does Froman even mention China\u2019s massive \u201cBelt and Road\u201d initiative that has spread Technocracy to the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His article concludes: \u201cIn the war over who gets to define the rules of the road, the battle is over, at least for now. And China won.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, if that is true, then the Trilateral Commission won. That was the plan all along.<\/p>\n\n \n <\/div>\r\n
