This strategic partnership represents a shared commitment to promoting practical and measurable sustainability practices among travel companies worldwide.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Green Destinations, a global leader in sustainable tourism certification and support, and ATTA, the largest global network of adventure travel leaders, will work together to help small and medium-sized travel enterprises (SMEs) become more competitive and sustainable. Through this partnership, ATTA members will gain access to exclusive benefits and tools to support their journey toward certification and sustainability excellence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cTourism has the power to be a force for good, and we believe that by working together, we can drive meaningful change in the adventure travel sector,\u201d said Albert Salman, CEO of Green Destinations. \u201cWe are thrilled to partner with ATTA to provide their members with the resources and support needed to achieve sustainability goals and make a positive impact on the places they operate in.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through this collaboration, ATTA members will receive special conditions to join Green Destinations\u2019 Good Travel Seal business certification. In turn, Green Destinations members will be encouraged to join ATTA\u2019s global network, creating a stronger community of responsible travel professionals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFor the past 20 years, ATTA has been dedicated to fostering a global community committed to sustainable travel while making it easier, and more accessible for businesses to integrate sustainability into their operations, \u201csaid Gustavo Timo, ATTA\u2019s VP of Sustainability and Impact. \u201cOur partnership with Green Destinations is an important step toward that goal. By joining forces, we can better support adventure travel companies in adopting best practices, gaining recognition, and advancing their sustainability efforts. An action plan with specific activities and timelines will be developed to ensure the successful implementation of this collaboration.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5 class=\"h5\"><b>About Green Destinations\u00a0<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Green Destinations offers a structured and practical approach to sustainability with two distinct certification programs: Green Destinations Certified, a GSTC-Accredited certification for destinations, and the Good Travel Seal, a certification for tourism businesses recognised by Travalyst, ECOTRANS, and Destinet.
