{"id":167455,"date":"2025-04-02T01:37:50","date_gmt":"2025-04-02T01:37:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peraltafinancing.com\/altcoin\/heres-what-bitcoin-needs-to-do-to-confirm-bullish-breakout-according-to-trader-who-nailed-2024-btc-correction\/"},"modified":"2025-04-02T01:37:50","modified_gmt":"2025-04-02T01:37:50","slug":"heres-what-bitcoin-needs-to-do-to-confirm-bullish-breakout-according-to-trader-who-nailed-2024-btc-correction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=167455","title":{"rendered":"Here\u2019s What Bitcoin Needs To Do To Confirm Bullish Breakout, According to Trader Who Nailed 2024 BTC Correction"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>A crypto analyst known for accurately calling Bitcoin\u2019s pre-halving correction last year believes that <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyhodl.com\/currencies\/bitcoin\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">BTC<\/a> needs to reclaim a key technical indicator as support to regain bullish momentum.<\/p>\n<p>Pseudonymous crypto strategist Rekt Capital tells his 542,600 followers on the social media platform X that BTC appears to be mirroring its price action in 2021 when Bitcoin consolidated between two key exponential moving averages (EMAs) on the weekly chart.<\/p>\n<p>According to Rekt, Bitcoin must <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/rektcapital\/status\/1906379492911702493\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">convert<\/a> the 21-week EMA into support to trigger the resumption of bullish price action.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEarlier this week, Bitcoin rejected from the 21-week EMA resistance (green).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>As a result, Bitcoin continues to consolidate between these two Bull Market EMAs, much like it did in mid-2021.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Nonetheless, for the future, the key confirmation signal for a breakout will be a weekly close above the green EMA followed by a post-breakout retest of it into new support (light blue circle).\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 1794px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/GnTRYNhWUAAyt_V?format=jpg&amp;name=large\" alt=\"Image\" width=\"1794\" height=\"1266\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Rekt Capital\/X<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>At time of writing, Bitcoin is trading for $82,536.<\/p>\n<p>Looking at the altcoin market, the trader says he <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/rektcapital\/status\/1906387735646244965\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">expects<\/a> alts to continue underperforming Bitcoin based on the BTC dominance (BTC.D) chart, which tracks how much of the total crypto market cap belongs to the flagship digital asset.<\/p>\n<p>According to Rekt, BTC.D could hit a crucial resistance level that has remained intact since 2017 before losing steam.
