The paper will come with a 0% coupon.<\/p><div class=\"g g-1\"><div class=\"g-single a-8\"><a class=\"gofollow\" data-track=\"OCwxLDEsNjA=\" href=\"https:\/\/www.empshield.com\/?coupon=macro\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/EMP-SHIELD-BANNER-400x400-1.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGameStop expects to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, including the acquisition of bitcoin in a manner consistent with GameStop\u2019s Investment Policy,\u201d the press release continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In making this move, GameStop is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2024\/12\/17\/how-micro-strategy-and-others-are-taking-on-billions-in-debt-to-buy-more-bitcoin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">joining the likes<\/a>\u00a0of Michael Saylor-led Strategy (MSTR), Semler Scientific (SMLR), MARA Holdings (MARA) and Riot Platforms (RIOT) as those firms issuing convertible debt for bitcoin purchases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GME shares are down 7% in after-hours trading following an 11.7% advance in the regular session on Wednesday.
