It was on a stable approach to Runway 9 when it abruptly veered left and rapidly lost altitude. <\/p>\n<p>Moments later, it struck a residential building in a neighborhood near the airport. Eyewitness video from the ground captured smoke and flames pouring from the home, which sustained significant damage.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"article-leaderboard bn-1\"\/>\n<p><center><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-media-max-width=\"560\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Mike Deyo captured an unbelievable video following the plane crash in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, early Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Officials have confirmed no one in the home was injured. This is still developing. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/KUEwD3v18l\">pic.twitter.com\/KUEwD3v18l<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Limitless Media (@LimitlessProdG) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LimitlessProdG\/status\/1906068376109130138?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 29, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <\/center><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are no survivors from the aircraft which struck the home,\u201d Brooklyn Park Fire Chief Shawn Conway said during a news conference, as reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/minnesota\/news\/small-aircraft-crashes-in-minneapolis-neighborhood-reports-faa\/\" title=\"CBS News\">CBS News<\/a>. No injuries have been reported among people on the ground. It remains unclear whether the house that was hit was occupied at the time of the crash.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency responders quickly arrived on scene to contain the resulting fire and secure the area. The identities of those on board have not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.<\/p>\n<p>Minnesota Governor and former vice presidential candidate Tim Walz responded to the incident. <\/p>\n<aside class=\"article-leaderboard bn-2\"\/>\n<p>\u201cMy team is in touch with local officials on the scene in Brooklyn Park and we are monitoring the situation closely,\u201d Walz said. \u201cGrateful to the first responders answering the call.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) announced that a team of investigators was sent to the crash site to collect and analyze evidence to determine the cause of the accident. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will also conduct a parallel investigation.<\/p>\n<p>The Socata TBM 700, introduced in the late 1980s, marked a significant milestone in general aviation as one of the first high-performance, single-engine turboprop aircraft designed for personal and business use.
