I received a copy of \u201cChess in Art\u201d to review recently. This is a \u201ccoffee table book\u201d published in Europe but available around the world. It depicts chess paintings and drawings from a variety of regions and centuries. Particularly with the popularity of Netflix\u2019s the Queen\u2019s Gambit<\/a>, this could be a popular gift!<\/p>\n

The basics<\/span><\/h3>\n

For a chess lover, this book offers 287 pages of chess paintings and drawings plus a significant number of pages with brief descriptions of the artists lives that follow as well as an index to where each of the artist\u2019s works can be found in the book.<\/p>\n
