I am grateful to have been given the chance to be the voice for millions impacted by cancer.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Our team, <strong>Wilson Lewis<\/strong>, is\u00a0participating in The Leukemia &amp; Lymphoma Society\u2019s\u202fVisionaries of the Year<em>\u202f<\/em>campaign. Visionaries of\u00a0the Year<em>\u202f<\/em>is a 10-week philanthropic competition among leaders in our Atlanta community seeking to make an impact in the fight against cancer. Like many of you, I have witnessed firsthand the debilitating effects that leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin\u2019s disease and myeloma can have on those who suffer from these blood cancers, and on the friends and family who care for and nurture their loved ones.\u00a0 In fact, leukemia still causes more deaths than any other cancer among children under the age of 20.<\/p>\n<p>My personal fundraising goal is to raise\u00a0$200,000, between today and June 7<sup>th<\/sup>. Today marks the first day of this 10-week campaign and I would be honored to count on your support to help us close out DAY 1 with a BANG! $200,000 is a lofty goal, but\u00a0I am\u00a0determined to leave\u00a0my\u00a0mark on the fight against cancer.\u00a0I cannot achieve my goal alone, though.<\/p>\n<p>There are a few ways you can support\u00a0my\u00a0fundraising efforts:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/pages.lls.org\/voy\/ga\/atlanta25\/jcrisp0dr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Make a tax-deductible donation<\/strong>\u202f<strong>online<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Share my\u00a0message &amp; fundraising link<\/strong>\u202fwith your contacts via email or social media<\/li>\n<li><strong>Help me secure a corporate sponsorship\u202f<\/strong>(Sponsorships start at $15,000, and sponsors receive Grand Finale benefits)<strong>\u202f<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Not only is\u00a0Visionaries of the Year\u00a0a great way to support\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lls.org\/\">The Leukemia &amp; Lymphoma Society (LLS)<\/a>, but it is also a great experience for\u00a0me and my team to come together to serve and learn more about this disease. Since 1949, LLS has invested nearly $1.8 billion in cutting edge cancer research, leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are saving and improving the lives of patients.\u00a0 This is an organization that is doing the right things with the dollars it raises, and I\u2019m proud to be associated with LLS.<\/p>\n<p>Team Wilson Lewis\u00a0can\u2019t wait to share the exciting updates of the next 10 weeks with you.
