This expansion includes <strong>Orlando,<\/strong> as well as <strong>Recife <\/strong>and <strong>Fortaleza<\/strong> in Brazil.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/insideflyer.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Screenshot-2025-03-25-17.20.33.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-55532\" srcset=\"https:\/\/insideflyer.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Screenshot-2025-03-25-17.20.33.png 466w, https:\/\/insideflyer.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Screenshot-2025-03-25-17.20.33-450x236.png 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 466px) 100vw, 466px\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<h2>New Routes Overview<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Orlando<\/strong>: Starting on <strong>26 October 2025<\/strong>, Iberia will operate <strong>four weekly flights<\/strong> from Madrid to Orlando, utilising A330 aircraft with a capacity for 254 passengers. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Recife<\/strong>: Flights to Recife will commence on <strong>13 December 2025<\/strong>, with <strong>three weekly frequencies<\/strong>, increasing to five in February. The A321 XLR aircraft, known for its efficiency, will serve this route.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fortaleza<\/strong>: Beginning on <strong>19 January 2026<\/strong>, Iberia will offer <strong>three weekly flights<\/strong> to Fortaleza, ramping up to four weekly services in February. The partnership with Disney Destinations is expected to drive holiday traffic, especially during the Christmas season.<\/p>\n<p>In Brazil, the new routes aim to bolster tourism from Spain. The addition of Recife and Fortaleza will provide Spanish (and other European) tourists with access to Brazil\u2019s vibrant northeast, known for its stunning beaches and rich culture.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p><em>\u201cWe believe Brazil has great potential, beyond the major cities we already serve. With the addition of the new A321XLRs, we can explore new routes across the Atlantic, assess their acceptance, and gradually adapt supply to demand,\u201d<\/em> said L\u00f3pez Sol\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>Bottom line<\/h2>\n<p>With nearly <strong>284,000 seats<\/strong> available between Spain and Brazil during the 2025-2026 winter season, hopefully there should be some decent award space.
