Wal-Mart Stores East, L.P.)\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/storage.courtlistener.com\/pdf\/2024\/08\/27\/eeoc_v._wal-mart_stores_east_l.p..pdf\"><strong>Read opinion here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u201cThe employee, a sales associate in Wisconsin for more than 15 years, worked an afternoon shift so she could catch a bus to and from work, according to court documents. After she was given an adjusted,\u00a0slightly later shift, she repeatedly expressed confusion and asked for her old shift back, the documents said. She also often left early \u2014 the same time as before to catch her bus \u2014 or missed work altogether.
