Apple says the new cable can connect your AirPods Max or Beats Studio Pro headphones to the audio-out port on an airplane or on an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or other device, or connect your iOS or iPadOS device to the audio-in port on your car stereo or other speaker system.<\/p>\n<p>Apple announced the new cable on Monday, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theapplepost.com\/2025\/03\/24\/68148\/apple-adding-lossless-audio-and-ultra%e2%80%91low-latency-audio-to-airpods-max-with-new-update\/\">when it revealed that with the release of iOS 18.4 next month, it will add support lossless and ultra-low latency audio to AirPods Max<\/a><\/em>.
