It\u2019s also taking its rightful spot as the featured beer at the\u00a0Governor\u2019s Fishing Opener\u00a0<\/strong>in Lake City, Minn.<\/p>\n

Much like Minnesota\u2019s state fish, the newest member of Fulton\u2019s popular Hop Kingdom family has been long dreamt about.\u00a0Ryan Petz<\/strong>, Fulton founder, CEO and native North Shore angler adds, \u201cI think IPA lovers looking for \u201creel\u201d therapy after a day on the water will find respite in this light bodied, low ABV American IPA that\u2019s drinkable long past the fish fry.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the land of 10,000 IPAs, this cooler beer is a real catch. Not drying, easy to drink and perfect for the boat or shore. Crafted for unspooling lakeside stories of lures and lore, balanced hop notes of Citra, Mosaic, and Motueka marry sweet grapefruit piths and bitter orange peel for an American IPA fit for the walleye capital of the world. From Bemidji to Baudette and Garrison to Grand Marais \u2013 Minnesota\u2019s fishing season has an official beer and this one is a \u201cshore\u201d thing.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Even if your boat looks more like a La-Z-Boy\u00ae, this new American IPA is the perfect salve for your story about the one that got away. Approachable, unpretentious, and affirming as your prized catch grows larger with each iteration.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fulton\u2019s latest catch can be found near all the hottest fishing spots around the state and beyond starting this week.\u00a0On fishing opener weekend (May 10-11) look for featured specials<\/strong>\u00a0on the new walleye brew and slot limit ruler giveaways\u00a0<\/strong>at favorite lakeside watering holes including\u00a0Tally\u2019s Dockside<\/a>\u00a0in White Bear Lake,\u00a0<\/em>Kelly\u2019s Lake House<\/a>\u00a0in Lake City and at the\u00a0Governor\u2019s Opener Community Celebration<\/a>\u00a0at Ohuto Beach Park in Lake City.<\/p>\n

Local illustrator and Marvel Comics artist\u00a0Brent Schoonover<\/strong><\/a> has sketched the entire Hop Kingdom family (300 IPA\/Stag, Hazy IPA\/Wolf, Juicy IPA\/Fox, Imperial IPA\/Bear, American IPA\/Walleye) drawing inspiration from the iconic array of animals that symbolize Minnesota\u2019s hardy ecosystem. Fulton\u2019s Hop Kingdom labels celebrate a trifecta of animal personalities, hop characteristics, and Minnesota habitats.<\/p>\n

In 2023, Fulton expanded its IPA offerings with the introduction of Hop Kingdom \u2013 a brand family of IPAs inspired by and made for Minnesotans. Propelled by Fulton\u2019s 14-year history of brewing notable IPAs \u2013 from Sweet Child of Vine, the brewery\u2019s first beer released in 2011, to 300 IPA, the most awarded beer in the portfolio\u2019s history \u2013 one thing is clear: IPAs are in Fulton\u2019s blood.\u00a0<\/p>\n
