The CG sneaker wars continue full force with this latest volley launched by the design and motion team at FutureDeluxe for the experiential unveiling of Nike\u2019s Air Max Dn8.<\/p>\n

From the team at FutureDeluxe: \u201cWith the Air Max Dn8, Nike\u2019s Dynamic Air technology is extended to the full length of the foot with two dual-pressure air units and eight tubes \u2013 a sustained flow of air from heel to toe \u2013 delivering cushioning, motion, and sensation.

\n\u201cWe were tasked with creating a suite of content for the Dn8 experiential launch, demonstrating the design journey of the sneaker.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cTo express these innovations, we were tasked with creating a suite of content for the Dn8 experiential launch, demonstrating the design journey of the sneaker with animations capturing this flow of air during foot impact with rich texturing and lighting.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe experimented using Houdini and TouchDesigner to create a fluid simulation reflecting the Dn8\u2019s impact, highlighting the seamless movement and comfort. We also crafted a surreal tunnel scene using elegant blurs and slow shutter effects, where the camera flies through the Dn8, immersing viewers in the Air Max world.\u201d
