The fire has caused a power outage affecting a large number of homes and local businesses, and we are working closely with our partners to minimize disruption,\u201d said Assistant Commissioner Pat Goulbourne.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As a precaution a 200-meter-wide cordon has been put in place around the fire and local residents have been advised to keep their windows and doors closed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis will be a prolonged incident, with crews remaining on scene throughout the night. As a precautionary measure, all flights from Switzerland to and from London Heathrow have been closed for sale tomorrow,\u201d a spokesperson for SWISS said.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"british-airways\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">British Airways <\/h3>\n<p>British Airways has advised its customers not to travel to Heathrow Airport today. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis will clearly have a significant impact on our operation and customers and we\u2019re working as quickly as possible to update them on their travel options for the next 24 hours and beyond,\u201d the airline said. <\/p>\n<h3 id=\"qatar-airways\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qatar Airways<\/h3>\n<p>Qatar Airways said flights QR011, QR107, QR003, QR004, QR006, QR007 and QR008 are all impacted. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cQatar Airways is working closely with LHR airport officials. Passengers impacted due to above will be taken care of by our customer care and airport teams,\u201d a spokesperson for the carrier said. <\/p>\n<h3 id=\"air-india\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Air India<\/h3>\n<p>The airline said: \u201cDue to a significant power outage, London Heathrow Airport has been shut down until 23:59 on 21st March.
