The Great Old Ones – Lands Of Azathoth (published by Eighth Tower Records, dl + CD):

The Great Old Ones present “Lands of Azathoth, an exploration into the unfathomable and chaotic core of Lovecraft’s mythos. This third installment, following the albums Yog-Sothoth (2022) and The Mythos of Cthulhu (2023), summons the enigmatic dread of Azathoth, the Blind Idiot God who lies at the heart of the cosmos. The music of The Great Old Ones is so profoundly lo-fi and shrouded in dense fog that each melodic line feels submerged, as if suspended in a gelatinous substance trapped within an alien shell, unable to fully emerge or resonate in the ears of the listener, eternally encased in otherworldly isolation. It offers a unique vision steeped in Lovecraft’s portrayal of the universe as a realm of endless chaos.

400 Lonely Things – Subdivisions (published by Unexplained Sounds Group and Dissipation, dl + cd):

What sets 400 Lonely Things apart is its ability to turn seemingly mundane or discarded sonic artifacts into evocative, almost cinematic experiences. The project’s work resonates with fans of dark ambient, hauntology, and experimental sound design, offering a gateway into worlds where time has fractured and memories linger like spectral echoes. Subdivisions, the latest album from 400 Lonely Things, marks a departure from the project’s conceptual and thematic approaches of the past. For the first time, there is no overarching narrative, no predefined agenda, just music existing in its purest form.

Drift – Diazepam (published by Eighth Tower Records & NPS, dl + cd)

Drift, the ambient music project led by Gabriele Giuliani (a.k.a. Dead Body Love), originally active from 1995 to 1999 and recently revived after a lengthy hiatus, has become a significant name in the realm of isolationist ambient music. The album Diazepam, originally released in 1996 on a C60 cassette by SSSM label, has now been reissued and remastered, and also includes a newly composed, previously unpublished track from 2024.
