2024 has been the biggest year yet for Animal Justice.

With you by our side, we’ve put the spotlight on more animal abusing industries than ever before. We documented terrified bulls at a bull riding event, and exotic reptiles trapped in takeout containers at a breeder expo. We conducted the world’s first caviar farm investigation, which introduced us to Gracie, a 7-foot breeder sturgeon who has been trapped in a barren tank since 1999. We continued to expose the cruel live horse export industry, and worked with animal advocates in Japan to document horses’ entire journey overseas for the first time ever.

The Animal Justice team has grown, and we could be seen in courtrooms, legislatures, and media from coast-to-coast. Your support has enabled our lawyers to defend animals in court, and we have laid a precedent-setting private charge against a horse export company. You’ve helped us work on more legislative issues than ever before, especially on Parliament Hill. We are forcing change in corporate supply chains that cage and harm millions of hens. And after years of work, we achieved one of our biggest victories to-date—defeating Ontario’s dangerous ag gag law in court.

We are proud to share all of our achievements for animals with you in our 2024 Year In Review video.
