We see familiar names in the lineup of the prestigious fest. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zippyframes.com\/tags\/theodore-ushev\">Theodore Ushev <\/a>returns to Annecy with &#8216;My Life with an Idiot, a film co-directed with Alexandra Ushev. Accused by the authorities of not working hard enough, Vladimir is forced to live with an idiot as punishment.<\/p>\n<p>Another Oscar-nominated animation artist, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zippyframes.com\/tags\/bruno-collet\">Bruno Collet <\/a>competes with &#8216;Atomik Tour&#8217;, a 12-minute stop-motion exploration of the Chernobyl nuclear accident and its repercussions on a young tourist<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zippyframes.com\/shorts\/bruno-collet-shoots-stop-motion-animation-atomik-tour\"><em>More about &#8216;Atomik Tour&#8217;<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The 2025 Anima Festival winner &#8216;Sisowatch Quay&#8217;\u00a0 by \u00a0<strong>Ste\u0301phanie Lansaque <\/strong>&amp; <strong>Franc\u0327ois Leroy,<\/strong> a strange, nightmarish film of an Asian romance, is on board in the official selection. Master Estonian animation director <strong>Priit P\u00e4rn <\/strong>and <strong>Olga P\u00e4rn<\/strong> continue their exploration of quirky comedy by moving into Italy with their 33-minute 2D animation &#8216;Luna Rossa&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Fadi Syriani<\/strong> is selected in the Perspectives section (17 films selected) with the 16-minute stop-motion\u00a0 &#8216;All this death&#8217;. An old Beirut resident checks the obituaries page and attends funerals daily. <strong>Krste Gospodinovski<\/strong>&#8216;s puppet Macedonian film &#8216;Silent Cinema&#8217; uses an intergenerational play with cinema at its main center.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>9 animation shorts <\/strong>in the Off-Limits festival section and <strong>10 animation films<\/strong> for young audiences in the corresponding section (including the sweet &#8216;Capybaras&#8217;
