Hello everyone, Giovanna here! In today\u2019s blog, I show you how to repurpose an old or thrifted frame using your beloved Gelli Arts\u00ae Gel Printing plate, botanicals, gold leaves and\/or metallic foil.<\/p>\n

I have had these two craft products in my stash for a long time, rarely used, and I was curious to try them with gel printing, so I experimented a bit transferring botanicals on glass (from the frame) but also on craft plastic (you can use plastic packages) and wood. The results are stunning!<\/p>\n

Once you are happy with the result, you can re-insert the printed glass in the frame, leaving it like that or adding a black cardstock on the back for a more dramatic effect.<\/p>\n

Gold leaves and metallic foil both work with this technique with a different final look; you can mix them and fix any imperfection while the gilding glue is still wet or adding more glue later.<\/p>\n
