Enter <strong>Book #4<\/strong> of my <strong>100-book challenge<\/strong>: <em>The Potential Principle: Living Life to Its Maximum<\/em> by Edward Cole.Now, I\u2019ll be honest\u2014self-improvement books can sometimes feel like they\u2019re just <strong>rearranging the same motivational quotes<\/strong> we\u2019ve heard a million times. But this one? It actually made me stop, think, and take notes. But if you believe in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/workinmypajamas.com\/how-to-use-the-law-of-attraction-to-make-money-in-your-pajamas\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">abundance<\/a>, opportunity, and good vibes<\/strong>, you\u2019ll start seeing those things more often.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not magic. It\u2019s just <strong>how your brain works<\/strong>\u2014it filters reality based on your expectations. So, in short:<\/p>\n<p>\u2714 <strong>Believe in possibilities = attract them.<\/strong><br \/>\u2716 <strong>Believe everything sucks = guess what, it will.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h3><span id=\"3_Loves_Depth_is_Measured_by_Giving\"><strong>3. But if you\u2019re constantly keeping score (<em>I did this for you, now you owe me!<\/em>), is that love\u2026 or just a transaction?<\/p>\n<p>(<em>Pauses to reevaluate every past relationship ever.<\/em> )<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h3><span id=\"4_Let_Go_of_Resentment_Release_Debts_to_the_Universe\"><strong>4. Let Go of Resentment &amp; Release Debts to the Universe<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This one felt like <strong>a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/briannawiest\/2018\/05\/17\/14-ways-to-start-a-mental-detox-and-declutter-your-mind-for-good\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">mental detox<\/a><\/strong>. Cole suggests that if someone owes you\u2014whether it\u2019s <strong>money, an apology, or just basic decency<\/strong>\u2014but refuses to pay up, <strong>stop carrying the resentment<\/strong>. Instead, mentally release the debt to the universe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The idea?<\/strong> The universe will pay you back in its own way, even if that person never does.<br \/><strong>The benefit?<\/strong> You stop wasting emotional energy on people who aren\u2019t worth it.<\/p>\n<p>And here\u2019s the real kicker\u2014<strong>giving things up to the universe doesn\u2019t just free you from grudges.<\/strong> It also clears out <strong>envy, jealousy, the thirst for revenge, and that nagging desire to \u201cget even.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Because let\u2019s be real\u2014<strong>you don\u2019t want that junk cluttering up your spirit.<\/strong> It\u2019s like carrying around a bag of old, rotting garbage. Eventually, it\u2019s going to start <strong>stinking up your soul<\/strong>. And no one wants to be that person who\u2019s walking around with emotional trash weighing them down.<\/p>\n<p>So let it go.
