This helps reduce flame flare-ups when cooking!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Cut<\/strong> the pork belly into \u00bc inch x \u00bd inch strips.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Place<\/strong> the pork belly pieces in a bowl, and add the BBQ rub. <strong>Toss<\/strong> to coat each piece evenly.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Chop<\/strong> the scallions into 1\u00bd inch pieces.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Assemble<\/strong> your yakitori skewers by threading alternating pieces of pork belly and scallions on the soaked skewers. Leave an inch of space at the end of each skewer so they can rest on the bricks\/grill.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pour<\/strong> a generous amount of charcoal into your kettle along with additional wood chips for a smoky flavor.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Light<\/strong> your kettle, and set the temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>While the grill heats, <strong>place your foil-wrapped bricks<\/strong> with an outside and inner edge for the skewers.
