It\u2019s a <strong>great place<\/strong> to go with family, casually drop in with friends, date, or enjoy a coffee at the bar alone.<\/p>\n<p>This is\u00a0<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">due to the\u00a0<strong>excellent food and drinks<\/strong> (a bakery is attached) and<\/span>\u00a0the cosy atmosphere and unique interior. At <strong>Metro, everything works<\/strong>, and despite the size of the space, it feels intimate.<\/p>\n<p>Its success was to be expected with owners who have <strong>years of experience<\/strong> in the hospitality industry. And rightly so, as they have now perfected it to the last detail, you\u2019ll hardly find it anywhere else.<\/p>\n<p>At Metro, it\u2019s all about the <strong>exciting snacks<\/strong>. A few top hits: <strong>prawn croquetas<\/strong> with pearl barley and lemon mayonnaise, <strong>brioche<\/strong> with mushroom and garden cress, and <strong>dolma skewers from the BBQ<\/strong>\u00a0filled with basmati rice, grapes, chestnut, verjus vinaigrette, and walnut. All equally special and delicious.<\/p>\n<p>The dinner menu is <strong>concise and ever-changing<\/strong>, but this does not affect the quality. On the contrary, as the menu has fewer options, the quality remains <strong>consistently high<\/strong>. A three-course meal costs \u20ac38.50, with options for meat, fish, or vegetarian dishes. <strong>\u00c0 la carte<\/strong> is also available. A favourite among regular Metro-goers is the <strong>roasted kale<\/strong> with Zeeland steamed oyster and salsify and the <strong>c\u00f4te de boeuf<\/strong> with pepper sauce and garnish.<\/p>\n<p>Do you prefer to visit Metro in the morning? From\u00a0<strong>10:00 AM<\/strong>, the finest sweet pastries roll out fresh from the in-house oven. Think\u00a0<strong>chocolate chip cookies<\/strong>, miso biscuits, and a homemade doughnut, but the <strong>cinnamon bun<\/strong> is one not to miss. Fancy something savoury?
