That seems like a century ago:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stpaulrealestateblog.com\/images\/2020\/03\/toiletpaper.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[27517]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-20582\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stpaulrealestateblog.com\/images\/2020\/03\/toiletpaper-500x500.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"187\" height=\"187\" \/><\/a><em>The Mayor of St. Paul declared a state of local emergency to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.\u00a0 The schools are closed and so are the libraries and the zoo. Water shutoffs will be suspended for 30 days and permits will not be issued for gatherings of more than 50 people.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Social distancing is recommended and that means putting some space between yourself and others. Six feet is recommended.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>From what I understand toilet paper isn&#8217;t a cure for the virus and soap and water actually works better than hand sanitizer for washing hands. The water that comes out of the faucets in St. Paul is quite drinkable. If you can&#8217;t find bottled water in the stores try filling a reusable glass with water from the faucet.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The stores near me ran out of bleach and disinfectant wipes weeks ago. You can use bleach or disinfectant to sanitize surfaces. Read the directions on the bottles. Be careful where you use that bleach it can damage surfaces.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We have been using isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol)\u00a0 to disinfect our germy phones and iPads.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>If you have to stay home you might want to consider limiting your time on Facebook or Twitter. There is more drama than usual on Facebook.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Later in the week I&#8217;ll look at some data and try to figure out what kind of impact COVID-19 is having on the local real estate market. It was quiet over the weekend. Unless your house is on the market or you sell real estate chances are you are not thinking about real estate.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"block-title\">Local Information about Coronavirus (COVID-19)<\/h2>\n<div class=\"block-content\">\n<p><a class=\"external_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ramseycounty.us\/residents\/health-medical\/current-health-issues\/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Information from\u00a0Ramsey County Public Health\u00a0<\/a><br \/>\n<a class=\"external_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.health.state.mn.us\/diseases\/coronavirus\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Information from the Minnesota Department of Public Health\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t get Covid 19 until last October, after having all of the vaccinations.
