JetBlue Airways Corp will launch flights to Amsterdam as it looks to
\ncash in on the soaring demand for transatlantic travel, the New
\nYork-based low cost carrier said on Tuesday.<\/span><\/p>\n

The move comes days
\nafter a Dutch court overruled a government plan to cap flights at
\nAmsterdam’s Schiphol airport in 2023-2024 and at a time when online
\nsearches by Americans for flights to Europe are surging despite soaring
\nair fares and risks of gridlock at some of the airports in the
\ncontinent.<\/span><\/p>\n

The three big U.S. carriers have increased
\ntransatlantic capacity by 22% this year, according to aviation analytics
\n company Cirium.<\/span><\/p>\n

JetBlue’s service between New York’s John F.
\nKennedy International Airport (JFK\/KJFK) and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS\/EHAM)
\n will commence late this summer, the company said in a statement, adding
\n that bookings will begin in the coming weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n
