Our\u00a0Adjustable E-Vac Vacuum Generators<\/a>\u00a0are the ones that typically fall into the \u201cnumber of other applications\u201d category above. While the In-Line E-Vacs are compact and reliably generate rated vacuum on demand, the\u00a0Adjustable E-Vacs<\/a>\u00a0have some distinct advantages in certain cases:<\/p>\n

Larger throat diameter.\u00a0In-Line E-Vacs<\/a>\u00a0have a very tight throat, which generally doesn\u2019t matter if they\u2019re just hooked to\u00a0Vacuum Cups<\/a>\u00a0that\u2019ll be placed on a relatively clean surface. The wider throat of the\u00a0Adjustable E-Vacs<\/a>\u00a0means that they can pass small debris from less-than-pristine surfaces that a\u00a0Vacuum Cup<\/a>\u00a0might lift, or shavings that might fall into a work holding fixture on a machine tool. They can even pass liquids, so they\u2019re sometimes used for small spill cleanup.<\/p>\n
