It&#8217;s not just a Shark Tank issue \u2014 it&#8217;s a small business epidemic.<\/p>\n<p>Cuban himself started earning money at a young age by selling <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/general\/education\/24\/10\/41222013\/it-wasnt-anything-horrific-how-12-year-old-mark-cuban-developed-tough-skin-to-reach-billionaire\">garbage bags door-to-door<\/a> when he was 12. A few years later, he made money by selling stamps and coins. During his university years, Mark took on multiple ventures, including working as a bartender, teaching disco lessons, and participating in chain letter schemes.<\/p>\n<p>Today, he has a net worth of $7.69 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/billionaires\/profiles\/mark-cuban\/\">Index<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, Cuban discussed the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/startups\/24\/12\/42618228\/mark-cuban-admits-ive-gotten-beat-after-losing-20-million-on-shark-tank-startups\">financial setbacks<\/a> he\u2019s faced on Shark Tank,&#8221; despite pouring nearly $20 million into various startups. During his appearance on the Full Send Podcast, the billionaire said that his investments haven\u2019t turned a profit.<\/p>\n<p>One of his biggest losses was <strong>Breathometer<\/strong>, a smartphone Breathalyzer startup he called his worst investment.
