One layer-1 altcoin is surging after a surprise listing by Binance, the world\u2019s largest crypto exchange by trading volume.<\/p>\n
In a new announcement, Binance says<\/a> that it is launching futures contracts with up to 75x leverage for Viction (VIC<\/a>), formerly known as TomoChain.<\/p>\n As the listing announcement went out, VIC exploded and is currently up 81% in the last 24 hours, trading for $0.36 at time of writing. With a market cap of $42.3 million, VIC is the 694th largest crypto project.<\/p>\n Viction aims<\/a> to create a network of apps on its blockchain by offering zero-gas transactions, enhanced security and improved scalability. The network says it employs 150 masternodes utilizing a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus.<\/p>\n \u201cViction is a people-centric blockchain, offering zero-gas transactions and enhanced security to make Web3 easy and safe for everyone.
