If you haven\u2019t disabled root access via SSH, you can easily enable it using the terminal option within Plesk. This guide will walk you through the process step by step.<\/p>\n

Step 1: Log in to Plesk<\/h3>\n

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to your Plesk login URL
    (e.g., https:\/\/yourvpsname.com:8443<\/code>).<\/li>\n
  2. Enter your username and password.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Step 2: Access the Web Terminal<\/h3>\n

    1. In the left-hand menu, click Tools & Settings<\/strong> (or Websites & Domains<\/strong>, depending on your Plesk version).<\/li>\n
    2. Look for SSH Terminal<\/strong> or Web Terminal<\/strong> and click on it.<\/li>\n
    3. A terminal window will open inside Plesk, allowing you to execute Linux commands.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Step 5: Restart the SSH Service<\/h3>\n

          systemctl restart sshd<\/code><\/pre>\n
          Final Step: Verify and Proceed<\/h3>\n
