At the Pillows Hotel<\/strong>, Fitz on the Roof<\/strong> opens in good weather. The cocktail bar Fitz<\/strong>, but on the roof of the beautiful building. You come here to enjoy the sunset and taste great cocktails. At Fitz on the Roof<\/strong> you can\u2019t have an extensive meal, but there is a nice drink menu. In my opinion, this new rooftop terrace is a great addition to East, because such a chic place was really the only thing missing in the vast array of eateries. Here you can feel like you\u2019re in another city due to the international vibe that you normally only experience in luxury hotels while traveling. Looking for a beautiful and quiet terrace with a view of the Oosterpark<\/strong>? In the luxurious Pillows Maurits at the Park<\/strong>, besides Fitz on the Roof<\/strong>, you\u2019ll also find the beautiful terrace of Spring Caf\u00e9 Brasserie<\/strong>. This all-day restaurant with an Italian menu<\/strong> is not only stylish but also hidden among the greenery. You can enjoy lunch or dinner outside while listening to the birds chirping in the park. As you would expect from a luxury hotel, this all-day restaurant is also child-friendly. They even have a separate kids\u2019 menu! In the always lively and cozy Javastraat<\/strong> you can visit Le French Caf\u00e9<\/strong> all day long. This modern French bistro has a menu full of the best from France, making you feel like you\u2019re in Paris for a moment. The interior is really cool! Another fun thing about this new restaurant in Amsterdam is the various cozy corners in the place. A table to join, small bistro tables where you can quietly read a newspaper, a cozy bar for endless drinks later in the day, and of course a lovely terrace. Then Le French Caf\u00e9<\/strong> is definitely the right place. The snacks are so delicious that you might almost skip the main course for dinner. Marco is undoubtedly the best host in Amsterdam who turns every evening at Pepenero into a celebration. You come here for the authentic Italian cuisine<\/strong> without fuss. The best ingredients, pure dishes. This remains one of the best restaurants in East, and in good weather, you can be one of the lucky ones to snag a spot on the terrace. Reservations are necessary! Restaurant Alba<\/strong> is a wonderful place on the Wibautstraat<\/strong> where you can sit down for a fine dining dinner on the terrace. The dishes change with the seasons, so you\u2019ll always taste something new. Let yourself be advised by the delicious accompanying natural wines they source directly from the producers. When you\u2019re sitting on the terrace here, you forget the hustle and bustle of the Wibautstraat immediately! On Saturdays and Sundays, they open at 4:00 PM, making it a great spot for a drink. De Kas<\/strong> is undoubtedly one of the most special restaurants in Amsterdam East<\/strong>. You eat beautiful dishes in a huge greenhouse in the middle of Park Frankendael<\/strong>. The vegetables on your plate are harvested in the morning from their own gardens in North Holland. And you can taste it! In good weather, you can sit on the terrace under the shade cloths. A tip to remember if you want to have an extensive and luxurious lunch on a weekday! Restaurant De Kas \u00a9 Your little black book<\/p>\n<\/div>\n At Alex + Pinard<\/strong>, located on the lively Dapperstraat<\/strong>, you can enjoy delicious wines combined with snacks and dishes to share. You can come here every day from 4:00 PM to the sunny terrace. What makes this spot so charming is that they currently have a Ukrainian pop-up<\/strong> and the entire menu is adapted to it. I would say: drop by and be surprised! At Javaplein<\/strong> you will find restaurant Wilde Zwijnen<\/strong>, where cooking with ingredients from the Dutch cuisine<\/strong> is central. Definitely a classic in the neighborhood, as it has been one of the best fine dining<\/strong> restaurants in East<\/strong> since its opening. You come here for an extensive dinner, and in good weather, this can also be enjoyed on the terrace. Personally, I\u2019m a big fan of their lunch on Saturdays and Sundays! For those who love delicious wines, Bar Bachrach<\/strong> is an address not to be missed. Here you will find an extensive selection of organic and biodynamic wines on the menu. But the real reason you want to eat here are the delicious dishes with flavors from the Middle East and Mediterranean cuisine. The terrace isn\u2019t large, so making a reservation is a good idea. For the best pizza on the terrace, I always go to LouLou<\/strong> in East<\/strong>. The terrace on the Weesperzijde<\/strong> has fortunately become much larger since the takeover of the place next door. The pizzas are incredibly delicious, and you can choose between sourdough<\/strong> or gluten-free dough<\/strong> (made with a unique mix of pea flour, rice flour, and cornflour). On the Linnaeusstraat<\/strong> in Amsterdam<\/strong>, The Cottage<\/strong> is a cozy restaurant where you are at the right place for typical British dishes<\/strong>. Sushi Fanatics<\/span><\/p>\n Eating sushi on the terrace in Amsterdam East<\/strong>? You can at Sushi Fanatics<\/strong>! It\u2019s definitely my favorite place to order sushi. But in good weather, the small terrace is really a hidden gem. Here you go for great sushi for lunch or dinner. The special selection of sake<\/strong> completes your culinary experience. And did you know there\u2019s a hidden omakase<\/strong> at the back of the place? Surrounded by trees, you feel like you\u2019re away from the Wibautstraat<\/strong> when you\u2019re sitting on the terrace at Bar Bouche<\/strong>. Open from 12:00 PM on weekends, other days for drinks from 4:00 PM. In my opinion, Bar Bouche<\/strong> is a typical all-rounder. The atmosphere is accessible, the terrace looks incredibly cozy, and the menu is full of delicious dishes to share. A glass of wine and nothing more needed! The perfect mix between a wine bar and a restaurant is, in my opinion, the accessible Clos Amsterdam<\/strong>. On the enclosed terrace, you can enjoy the beautiful weather in Amsterdam East from late afternoon. The menu is full of dishes to share, and the wines are conveniently categorized by flavor profile. At Restaurant Nomads<\/strong>, you\u2019ll be transported to distant lands. The terrace offers an oasis of peace by the water in Oostpoort. Here you go for an extensive dinner with colorful, worldly dishes. The menu changes every six months, with a different country taking center stage each time. From Middle Eastern lamb chops to South American ceviche, it\u2019s always a surprise. Are you crazy about tacos? At Local Dealer<\/strong><\/a>, you eat the best in East made from cornmeal. The concept of this restaurant was born during a trip to Mexico. In the summer months, you can enjoy the colorful terrace. Fancy a cocktail? They make the best here. L\u2019Osteria<\/strong> is an Italian restaurant that (I think) is especially loved by families. Especially in nice weather, because with the playground in front<\/strong>, it\u2019s great for kids aged from kindergarten onwards. You can eat peacefully while they play. But honestly: even without kids, this part of Amsterdam East is worth a visit. In nice weather, it\u2019s a great swimming spot, and then you can hop from a picnic in the grass to the terrace for a pasta or pizza. Buon appetito! Do you want to eat by the water in East<\/strong>? Then you should go to Ode aan de Amstel<\/strong>. On the spot where Riva used to be, you can now enjoy an accessible all-day menu. Prefer to go all out with multiple courses? Then choose the chefs menu<\/strong>! They are open every day from 11:00 AM for lunch and also have a nice Sunday Brunch<\/strong> on Sundays. \u00a9 Ode aan de Amstel<\/p>\n<\/div>\n One of my favorite hidden gems in East. De Gastronout<\/strong> is a bar and bistro in East where they serve French dishes with an international twist. In good weather, you can enjoy delicious food on the terrace on Dapperstraat. Cute detail: the terrace tables are still set with linen! Looking for the best rooftop terrace in Amsterdam East<\/strong>? Canvas<\/strong> is your go-to spot! Located on top of the Volkshotel<\/strong>, Canvas offers a breathtaking view over the city. Whether you come for lunch, dinner, or just a drink with friends, the rooftop terrace of Canvas is the perfect place to enjoy the sun and good vibes. The cocktails are good, the menu is full of specialty beers, the beats always on point, and the view unforgettable. You might quickly forget this gem of a terrace in Amsterdam East because it\u2019s been open for a while, but be sure to visit again this summer! At Brouwerij Poesiat & Kater<\/strong> in Amsterdam East, they have a wonderfully spacious terrace with a relaxed atmosphere. Here you can enjoy craft beers brewed on-site and tasty dishes that perfectly complement them. Whether you come for a cozy lunch, a bite to eat, or just a drink with friends at the picnic tables, you\u2019re always in the right place. I find it a fun spot because it\u2019s a bit more hidden in East behind the Oostpoort shopping center. It feels a bit like a hidden gem! Summer or autumn weather\u2026 it doesn\u2019t matter at the terrace of De Biertuin under the umbrellas and heaters! It\u2019s been an institution at the Oosterpark since it opened. Of course, the menu is full of great bar snacks and specialty beers, but you can also get real pub food here. From burgers to ribs, no fuss. De Biertuin, Amsterdam<\/p>\n<\/div>\n A wonderful all-day breakfast spot and address for a delicious brunch in Amsterdam. With an urban interior with lots of steel, concrete, and greenery, the interior of Benji\u2019s<\/a> is also very photogenic. They now have locations in East, West, and New West. Louie Louie in East has a great terrace, and I often go there for a cozy drink. Whether it\u2019s a pre-dinner drink or a late-night cap on the way home. Even if it\u2019s a bit cooler, you\u2019re comfortable under the heaters. Experience the delicious flavors of Italy at Javaplein. Just like at the other Spaghetteria locations in Amsterdam, you can enjoy their famous pasta dishes and other Italian cuisine on the terrace here. Who will you join at Spagh this summer? How nice is this terrace? On a square next to Artis with a view of the flamingos. Our regular spot for a drink in nice weather after a visit to Artis. The menu is for everyone, exactly what you expect from a modern caf\u00e9. Looking for a child-friendly terrace in Amsterdam East? Haddock<\/strong> is the perfect place! Located on Zeeburgereiland, Haddock offers a spacious terrace where children can play safely while you enjoy a relaxing lunch, drink, or dinner. The extensive menu has something for everyone, and they also have affordably priced options on the kids\u2019 menu. Don\u2019t expect culinary masterpieces here, but honestly, with kids, that\u2019s not always necessary. With its relaxed atmosphere, a playground, and plenty of space for the little ones, Haddock is the ideal destination for a meal on the terrace with the whole family. Head towards the Oosterpark to sit cozily at PARK, the restaurant of Hotel Arena. Truly one of the most beautiful terraces in Amsterdam with a view of the park. For me, really a terrace for the daytime to have a drink or lunch. Also perfect with kids, because right in front of the door at the foot of the Oosterpark, there is plenty of space to play. Not the largest terrace, but always cozy. And honestly, at this pub, you\u2019re more comfortable outside than inside. So remember! At this terrace in Amsterdam East, the beers are always cold and they have one of the best snack menus. Fellow mini sausage roll lovers; this is your spot! Inside, this is a very beautiful spot, but the terrace is also worth mentioning. Especially if you want to have a coffee, lunch, or drink. Located between the Dapperstraat and the Javastraat, you can head in any direction afterward! Bar Botanique, Amsterdam<\/p>\n<\/div>\n One of the largest terraces in East, where you can enjoy the setting sun for a long time, is the terrace of Bam Boa. Nice by the water of the Amstel so you can enjoy all the boats passing by during your terrace visit. The menu is full of accessible dishes that make you dream of a sunny holiday. On the Weesperzijde in Amsterdam East, you\u2019ll find grand caf\u00e9 De Ysbreeker. Not hip, but a spot where locals keep coming back. They\u2019re open every day from 8:00 AM, so perfect for early birds.
