With an 18,773.2% absolute growth rate, Almedia\u2019s inclusion recognizes its extraordinary growth between 2020 to 2023. Almedia was founded by its now 23-Year-Old CEO, Moritz Holl\u00e4nder, while he was still at school. Since then, Almedia has grown to 80 employees as of February 2025. The company remains founder owned with no external funding. Headquartered in Berlin, Almedia\u2019s third place ranking in FT1000 Europe also makes it the fastest-growing company in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Almedia is at the forefront of a major digital advertising trend called Reward-based User Acquisition; an approach used by advertisers to increase player acquisition, engagement, and retention by offering real-world rewards to audiences. Its signature rewards platform \u2018Freecash\u2019 sees a community of over 35 million users completing missions inside games and apps, as well as surveys to earn real-world rewards such as gift cards from brands such as Netflix and Amazon.
