Kennedy International Airport (JFK).\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The airline and airport, along with terminal manager Fraport USA, <a href=\"https:\/\/news.jetblue.com\/latest-news\/press-release-details\/2025\/JetBlue-Port-Authority-and-Fraport-USA-Unveil-Plans-for-Refresh-of-John-F.-Kennedy-International-Airports-Terminal-5-to-Transform-the-Customer-Experience\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced a new direction for Terminal 5<\/a>, including new designs and the addition of 40 new concessions.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Terminal 5 Improvements Expected to be Complete by End of 2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The plan calls for transforming Terminal 5 to a space that features even more visual inspiration of the unique features in New York City. The center concourse will feature greenery inspired by the city\u2019s parks, including benches, concrete chess tables, and new lighting features. The center will offer an open space for pop-up experiences, including performances and other events. The concessions will begin opening throughout 2025, with the full transformation expected to be completed by the end of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen it opened, Terminal 5 set a new standard for customer-focused airport design that reflected our mission of bringing humanity back to air travel,\u201d Marty St. George, president of JetBlue, said in a press release. \u201cThis isn\u2019t just about new dining and shopping\u2014it\u2019s about bringing the energy of New York into the terminal.
