We offered to bring garlic bread. We thought we would test a new recipe we were working on. \u201cBacon Cheese Garlic Bread\u201d, oh yeah we rocked this. This was quick, easy and ooey gooey great. Jam packed with crumbled bacon, two kinds of cheese and buttery garlic\u2026<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">There were no leftovers, darn.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The fun thing about this one is that you can easily do it inside your oven, too.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Patti and I have set one night a week just for us. It\u2019s our date night. We usually put something special on one of our Grills or Smokers, but sometimes we cook inside. Stir in drained bacon crumbles and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chef-ofthefuture.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chef of the Future Honey Garlic Bourbon Seasoning<\/a>. You\u2019re just blending together.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cut the cheese into slices you can easily work into the grooves that you will cut into the bread. Cut the bread with a sharp knife about \u00be of the way through. Cut from both directions giving it a diamond like cut. Fill the cuts with all the cheese you can get into it. I did 1 cheese all in the same direction then the other in the other direction. I stuffed it until I couldn\u2019t get any more in.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Place your bread on a piece of foil big enough that you can cover the bread when it goes on the grill. To keep it simple I placed it on a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lodgemfg.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lodge griddle skillet<\/a> for easy handling on and off the grill. Then, fill the cuts in the bread with all the bacon garlic mix you can.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ready for the grill, do 20 minutes covered with the foil at 350 Degrees (177c). You set your control knob to the temp you want, put your meat in and leave it for a set time. It is the same thing, time and temperature is what it is all about.
