\n I use a vent clip air freshener in my car keep the inside of my car from
\n stinking up the joint in between cleanings. My personal go-to is
\n this Fabreeze car vent air freshener<\/b>
\n <\/a><\/span>, but I also love the scent of
\n these Yankee Candle car vent air fresheners<\/span><\/b><\/a>. Depending on availability and sales, I tend to switch between the two.(Disclosure: I am including affiliate links for your convenience<\/i>.)<\/p>\n

\n I stumbled upon a killer deal on Yankee Candle Sidekick refills. Without
\n hesitation, I snatched them up, even though I didn’t have the matching holder
\n (the
\n Sidekick air freshener looks like this
\n <\/span><\/b><\/a>). My brilliant plan was to simply stick the refill in the car vent, similar
\n to
\n the air freshener sticks that look like this<\/span><\/a><\/b>.\n<\/p>\n

It sorta worked but mostly didn\u2019t.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n As luck would have it, the next time I went to change the air freshener, I had
\n once again forgotten to buy the special holder.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Determined to make it work, I decided to get creative and hack my Yankee
\n Candle Sidekick Air Freshener. Using a tulle party favor bag (You can
\n buy party favor bags here<\/span><\/b> <\/a>) and a small binder clip, I was able to attach the refill to my car’s air
\n vent. It worked!\n<\/p>\n

\nEasy to change to whatever brand or size car air freshener refill I want. Why didn’t I think of this sooner?<\/i><\/p>\n

\n In fact, I may just continue using this hack even when I have the proper
\n holder, simply because I always seem to forget to buy one before I need it.\n<\/p>\n
