This is made with dried black dates, powdered fine enough for your little one to enjoy their meal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>Preparation Time: 10 mins<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Total Cooking Time: 20\u00a0mins<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serving portion &#8211; 60-70 ml Syrup<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Ingredients:<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Dates (seedless) &#8211; 1 cup\/200g<\/li>\n<li>Water (boiling) &#8211; 1 cup\/200 ml + extra<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Method:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>1. Wash the dates and de-seed if required.<br \/>2. Put the dates in a bowl and add boiling water to it.<br \/>3. Cover it with a lid and let it soak for 2 hours.<br \/>4. After the dates have been soaked, mash the dates well.<br \/>5. Pour in the mashed dates through a sieve or a muslin cloth.<br \/>6. Squeeze well.<br \/>7. Put the squeezed pulp left over back in the bowl and add a little more water to it as required.<br \/>8. Mash it again and squeeze out the pulp again through the sieve.<br \/>9. Put the extracted juice in a sauce-pan.<br \/>10. Boil it on medium-high heat for 10 mins till it thickens. Stir well so that the syrup does not blacken.<br \/>11. Set it aside to cool.<br \/>12. Pour it into a jar and refrigerate.<strong><br \/><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Shelf Life:<\/strong><\/span> 1 Week. Please make small batches and consume before 1 week.
