Credit: Boeing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Indeed, the financial results may indicate that neither Airbus (AB) nor Boeing (BA) are going through the best of times. However, one corporation clearly weathered 2024 better than the other.<\/p>\n<p>While Airbus (with Helicopters, and Defense and Space) and Boeing (with Defense and Space, and Global Services) have other business segments, make no mistake: these are the undercards that make up the heavyweight title fight.<\/p>\n<p>Airbus and Boeing will both go as their respective commercial aircraft divisions do.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_46271\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/leehamnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/A320neo-PW-engines-12-10-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-46271\" class=\"wp-image-46271 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/leehamnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/A320neo-PW-engines-12-10-300x122.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"122\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-46271\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>Airbus A320neo.
