One month ago, we received our first word on Sega\u2019s Maimai DX rhythm game coming to Amusement Expo 2025<\/a>, via an announcement by the recent test location Velocity eSports to recruit players. Confirmation was quickly provided to us by a representative of Sega Amusements. Now, the latter is sharing more details on the game\u2019s USA launch appearance there and upcoming release, alongside some further information posted by the game\u2019s own official Facebook page the other day. Let\u2019s give it all a look over.<\/p>\n

Maimai DX Comes To The US From Late Summer<\/h3>\n

If you are new to the arcade industry, Amusement Expo International is held every Spring in March to showcase new arcade titles that will be launching in the Summer. Thanks to the same spokesperson who confirmed that Maimai DX would be appearing at this expo as a part of Sega Amusements\u2019 booth, we have additional information to share with you, along with a press release.<\/a><\/p>\n

First off, here\u2019s an ad that they shared online in regards to the AEI appearance:<\/p>\n

Of the bites of information given here, it\u2019s nice that they are offering 100 AIME cards as a sweetener. And over 1100 songs is an impressive starter amount (titles like StepManiaX and Pump It Up Phoenix 2024 have somewhere over 500 songs), although it does note that the number \u201cmay vary\u201d. Granted, Sega has been releasing this game for more than a decade now in Asia, and they have a lot of inhouse music to put on there, e.g. this below famous racing game theme. I\u2019m sure the Sonic the Hedgehog songs will prove particularly popular among many customers who will come across the cabinets.<\/p>\n
