Who\u2019s working just 18 days a month? Good for them.<\/p>\n<p>Karbon said:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>On average, accounting professionals save 56 minutes a day (a potential of 18 hours a month) with AI, with over a third (38%) of this time spent on communication tasks like drafting emails and managing correspondence. Role, geography, firm size, and services offered did not have a significant bearing on the amount of time an employee can save. But skill level did, with advanced users saving 71% more daily minutes than beginners.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ironically, the page prior to this excerpt in the report quotes a manager in the UK who said this about AI: \u201cAI is the tool we will use to complete the mundane, boring, repetitive \u2018monkey\u2019 tasks, which will in turn allow us to focus on more complex and fulfilling tasks. Human relationships might even be positively impacted by this as there will be more time for human interaction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>AI: *creates communications for humans to send to other humans*<\/p>\n<p>Some more figures on time savings ahead:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>When firms invest in AI-focused education and training, they save a daily average of 66 minutes per employee\u201422% more than those that don\u2019t. That\u2019s a difference of 40 hours annually.
