The photo above reflects making this cookie recipe twice.<\/li>\n<li>If you have no self-control after making a chocolate chip recipe, this will curtail the chance of overindulging!<\/li>\n<li>My husband, the chocolate chip cookie connoisseur in our household, gave them his seal of approval.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-chocolate-chip-cookie-for-one\"><span id=\"Chocolate_Chip_Cookie_for_One\">Chocolate Chip Cookie for One<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>I was hoping to entice my oldest to do some baking on his own, touting all the terrific recipe ideas in Cindy\u2019s <a class=\"easyazon-link\" data-cart=\"y\" data-cloak=\"y\" data-identifier=\"1641529849\" data-locale=\"US\" data-localize=\"y\" data-popups=\"y\" data-tag=\"thskchcaba-20\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thatskinnychickcanbake.com\/product\/1641529849\/US\/thskchcaba-20\/?cart=y\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">The Cooking for One Cookbook<\/a> (affiliate link). Then, I asked, \u201cDo you have flour at your house?\u201d No, was his reply. \u201cDo you have sugar?\u201d No, he repeated. No need to ask about vanilla, brown sugar, or baking soda as I knew the answers.<\/p>\n<p>I guess since his house is less than a mile away, he finds no need to bake when my kitchen is typically well stocked with sweets. BUT this <strong>homemade chocolate chip cookie<\/strong> recipe would be terrific if he was in dire straits, shaking from chocolate withdrawals! I also loved the sound of\u00a0Cindy\u2019s Mocha Fudge and Vanilla Mug Cake recipes. Set aside.<\/li>\n<li id=\"mv_create_1686_3\">In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until the sugars are dissolved.<\/li>\n<li id=\"mv_create_1686_4\">In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. <\/li>\n<li id=\"mv_create_1686_5\">Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir in the chocolate chips.
