It\u2019s a method you can use to add and execute code <em>as the hit to Google Analytics is being generated<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve written <a href=\"https:\/\/www.simoahava.com\/tags\/customtask\/\">A LOT<\/a> about <code>customTask<\/code>, and much of the feedback I\u2019ve received has been around the question of <strong>how to combine all these different tricks into one <code>customTask<\/code> script<\/strong>. The problem is, you see, that a tag or hit can only have one <code>customTask<\/code> script attached to it, so the code within must combine all the different tricks I\u2019ve been writing about over the past months.<\/p>\n<p>To help with the pain of programming, I wrote a tool which you can find <a href=\"https:\/\/www.simoahava.com\/tools\/customtask-builder\/\">behind this link<\/a>. You just select the <code>customTask<\/code> features you want to utilize in the script, and it then generates the JavaScript block that you\u2019ll then need to edit to change the default values to something meaningful.<\/p>\n<p>At this point, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.simoahava.com\/tools\/customtask-builder\/\">head on over<\/a> to the <strong>customTask Builder Tool<\/strong> itself, and read the instructions within. Be sure to read my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.simoahava.com\/analytics\/customtask-the-guide\/\">guide on <code>customTask<\/code><\/a> to understand what <code>customTask<\/code> is and why it may be useful to you.<\/p>\n<p>And keep checking the tool at regular intervals.
