American Express is running a new promotion to round up the fiscal year end with many new credit\/charge card issuances. It might be a great time to consider a new card for your wallet. Here are the details of the cards offered with an enhanced benefit.\n<\/p>\n

American Express Gold Card<\/a> is an entry-level charge card from American Express. I\u2019ve had it for over 14 years, and it has given me enough reasons<\/a> to trust Amex with my business. Cardmembers cannot revolve credit in a charge card and must pay their bills in full at the end of every statement cycle. In exchange, the card has no pre-set spending limit (the algorithms dictate a soft limit, but it is fluid).<\/p>\n

The American Express Gold Card<\/a> offers Membership Rewards points for all your spending at 1 Point for every INR 50 spent. At the Amex Rewards Multiplier portal, it provides 5X points on all spends. The card has a very easy proposition for everyone to make 1,000 bonus MR points every month, just by making six spends of at least INR 1,000 on the card during the month. Additionally, it offers points on fuel and utility spending, which many other cards have shut down recently.<\/p>\n

The Membership Rewards points earned can be redeemed for the 18\/24K Gold Collection<\/a> or transferred to two hotel transfer partners or eight airline partners.<\/p>\n

American Express is offering the card for a discounted fee of INR 1,000++ for the first year for those who apply through this link<\/strong><\/a>. The usual bonus is 2,000 MR, and this additional bonus will only last till the end of February 2025.<\/p>\n

You spend INR 1.90 lakhs in a membership year and get a 15,000 Membership Rewards points bonus. You take your spend up to INR 4 Lakhs in the same membership year, and you get another bonus of 25,000 bonus Membership Rewards points. At the 4,00,000 level, you also get an INR 10,000 Taj voucher.<\/p>\n

American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card<\/a> (19,000 Bonus MR)<\/h3>\n

This card is one of Amex\u2019s higher-end cards for those who want some of the features of the American Express Platinum Charge Card<\/a> but do not want to pay the high charges towards annual membership.<\/p>\n

On a typical day, on an average spend, you would get 1 Membership Rewards point for every INR 50 spent coming into your account. Additionally, you get a voucher worth INR 1,000 every time you spend at least INR 50,000 in a calendar month on the card (enrollment-based benefit). You also get 3X MR Points when you use the card to buy vouchers via the Amex Rewards Multiplier portal. Additionally, you get 12 Lounge Access per annum across India, Taj Epicure, and EazyDiner membership and twice-a-month golf benefits.<\/p>\n

\"a<\/a><\/p>\n

When you apply using this link<\/strong><\/a>, you get the card with 19,000 MR points on spending INR 25,000 within 90 days of approval (usually 15,000 MR Points). On renewal, the fee waived off when you spend INR 10 Lakh in a membership year. During the special promotion, you are getting a bonus of 4,000 Membership Rewards points upon approval.<\/p>\n
